About Me

My Story

As a training expert with a unique blend of expertise in neuroscience, psychology, instructional and behavioral design I bring a science-driven perspective to modern training experiences.

I began my career in academia, earning a Ph.D. in neuroscience and spending many years researching the neuropsychological foundations of human behavior. This work provided me with a profound understanding of how people learn, make decisions, and adjust their behavior. These insights now directly inform my approach to training design.

Driven by a desire to have a tangible, real-world impact, I moved from academia into corporate training and learning experience design. This felt like a natural progression from my scientific work. Today, I translate complex scientific and technical content into clear, engaging learning solutions that drive behavior change and deliver measurable performance outcomes.

My AI Enablement Process

A key part of my work is AI literacy and enablement. I support learners and organizations in using AI tools and understanding how they work, their limitations, and how to apply them critically, ethically, and purposefully in real work and learning contexts.

My focus goes beyond integrating AI into learning experiences. I enable people to work effectively with AI by building their confidence and decision-making capability rather than fostering dependency on the tool. I design learning experiences that help learners develop the skills needed to evaluate AI output, recognize risks and biases, and make informed choices.

My human-centered, evidence-based approach is designed for a world in which AI is a powerful enabler, not a replacement for human thinking and reasoning skills.

What Motivates Me

I am driven by empathy and a strong desire to make a meaningful impact. Working for an NGO in Tanzania for three years was both humbling and transformative, reinforcing my commitment to contributing in ways that genuinely help others. For me, designing learning experiences is a powerful way to give back by enabling people to grow and find success.

I now live in rural Andalusia with my six rescue dogs, finding balance and inspiration in nature.
